Carolyn Alberta Clem, 83 of Louisville passed away December 14, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 29, 1928 to the late Charles Dupin Sr. and Edith Medley. Alberta was a retired General Electric Employee.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Dupin, Jr.
She is survived by her four loving children; Leo Clem, James Clem, Anita Vanderkraats and Pam Maguire; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Clem; a son-in-law, Marc Maguire; her twin sister, Dixie Harned and sister, Lois Bower; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her devoted dogs, Lilly, Teddy and Dukie.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Sunday December 18, 2011 at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-8 on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the love and compassion of her caregivers, Bonnie, Holly and Tom.
