She was a former customer service representative for Humana.
Mrs. Reed was preceded in rest by her daughter, Joy Reed-Vandgrift.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Rankins, Melinda Knight, Terinda McKown and Troy Mays; 11 grandchildren, Leslie Myers, Robert Rankins, Rebecca Rankins, Jordan Knight, Jenny Knight, Justin Dougherty, Johnathan Knight, Amy Lord, Amber Loftin, Joseph Reed and Jaedyn Warren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Franklin Coleman.
Her funeral will be on Thursday at 12 pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with entombment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm.
