Charlene McCubbins Webb

Webb, Charlene McCubbins, 83, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2016. Charlene was a native of Hart Co., KY and a Louisvillian for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Kentucky Colonels, a longtime member of Hillview C.P. Church and retired from General Electric as a Quality Assurance Inspector after 34 years. She enjoyed taking trips to Gulf Shores, reading, cooking, music, watching old movies and sewing. Charlene enjoyed cheering on the Louisville Cardinals, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a true lady who was full of goodness and whose generous and kind spirit will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Webb; parents, Charles and Linnie McCubbins; and 9 siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judy Burke (Jerry) and Debbie Singery (Steve); grandchildren, Brian Ciaburri (Austin), Jennifer Lawrence (Carl) and Jenna Singery; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Cameron, Trystan, Cherydan and Gabriel; brother, Haskell McCubbins (Annette); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 pm-8 pm and

Monday from 10 am until the time of service, at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Charlene can be made to the Kosair Shriners or the American Diabetes Association.
