He was retired owner of Big O Tires and a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church.
Mr. Blevins was preceded in rest by his wife, JoAnn Blevins; a son, Joel Blevins; and his parents, Golden and Louise Blevins.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracie Brockman (Tim); three grandchildren, Kasie, Katie and Karlie Brockman; a brother, Roger Blevins (Cindy); and two sisters, Glenda Blevins and Christine Hoskins (Frank).
His funeral will be at 1pm Saturday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10am until the time of service.
