Charles A Curry, 82, of Louisville reunited with his beloved wife Marguerite, July 6, 2014. He was born June 13, 1932 in Louisville KY to the late Clarence and Emma Webb Curry. He was a member of Sons of the American Revolution, Louisville Male High School Alumni, Louisville Genealogy Society and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a loving father, grandfather and avid UL fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Spalding (Wayne), four grandchildren, Jennifer Gray (Tim), Matthew Spalding (Peyton), Theresa Spalding (Mike) and Kristina Stiers (Carl), three great- grandchildren, Spencer Gray, Taylor Gray and Drayden Spalding, and his faithful dog companion Bella.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Marguerite Wempe Curry, a son, Charles Clarence Curry, grandson, Bradley Wayne Spalding, and two sisters, Virginia Mattingly and Doris Debord.
A Celebration of Charles’s life will be conducted Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 12:00pm in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 4: 00 to 8:00 pm.
