Charles “Charlie” Parker Edwards Sr., 77, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away with his family by his side Sunday, March 11, 2018. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Mamie Edwards. Charlie was retired from sales and management in the food service industry. After retirement, he enjoyed serving families with the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Homes. He was also a member of Life Bridge Christian Church, a dual member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge 865 and Robinson Masonic Lodge 266, Aahmed Groto, Chefs Association, Kentucky Restaurant Association and Louisville Restaurant Association. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Sue Ann Edwards; children, Charles Parker Edwards Jr. (Elizabeth McCutcheon), Robin Gail Enteman (Jack); grandchildren, Parker Edwards (Kristen), Eli Raines (Courtney), Chaz Edwards, JT Enteman, Zoe Raines, Beth Edwards; siblings, Sarah Ruth McBee, Marleen Partin, Delores Edwards, Rodney Edwards(Karen), and a host of many other family members and friends. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Charlie will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 1pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery in Shepherdsville. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-8pm with a Masonic Service at 6pm at the funeral home.
