Charles F. Haag, 77, of Louisville, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. He was retired from Ford Motor Company with over 27 years of service, and has been a iron worker for over 59 years. He belonged to UAW-#862, Iron Workers Local #70, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Charles was an avid golfer, gardener and a member of Brooks Baptist Church. He loved to read his Bible and God's word daily.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon Graham Haag; children, Shelley Haag Johnson (Gary), Kevin Haag (Lynn), Alison Haag Camp; step-children, Kimberly Ward (Mike), Regina Thompson (James), Shawna Maddox (Greg), Kenny Metcalf (Linda); 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
His Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. till noon at the funeral home.
