He was a retiree of World Color Press and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Frances Adkins Minyard; daughters, Donna Gail Carmen and Melody Lynn Campbell.
He is survived by his son, Chuck W. (Mary) Minyard; sisters, Glenna Keith and Leah Pate; grandchildren, Jessica and Katie Minyard, Shelley Kelly and Justin Kearn.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5 p.m. on at the funeral home.
