Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Nicklies and his sister, Susan Anderson.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley Bosler, his brother-in-law’s Nick Bosler and Merrill Anderson, 7 nieces and nephews, along with 5 great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who helped care for Charlie at Baptist Health as well as Hosparus of Louisville for all of their support. The family would also like to send their heartfelt love and appreciation to the staff at Heartsongs Memory Care. They put a smile on Charlie’s face and made his life more complete while living there.
Charlie will always be remembered for his smile and laugh.
A private inurnment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park.
