Charles Donald Powell, 58, of Louisville passed away April 10, 2015 at Norton Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. He was born on April 29, 1956 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Doris Brown Lindsey the late James Powell. He was retired from Tarc with over 28 years of service and was a veteran serving the United States Army.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Isbell Powell; three children, Jason Powell ( Tracy), Jessica Powell and Julie Powell; five sisters and two brothers.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Noon at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Tuesday and from 10-12 on Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the family.
