Charles “Charlie” Richard Ramsey, 75, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Richard Ramsey and Dorothy (Thompson) Ramsey on February 20, 1950. Charlie retired from Harland Clarke after 43 years of dedicated service. He was an avid UK fan, loved horse racing, and bowling.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Brenda Jones; and favorite dog, Kelsey.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 49 1/2 years, Sheila; daughters, Elaina Coffey (Robert), Crystal Stagner (Eric); grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Coffey, Abigail and Michaela Stagner; brother-in-law, Jr. Jones; several extended family members and dear friends.
The Funeral Service will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:30am at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 2pm until 8pm and Friday, November 14, 2025 from 10am until the time of service also at the funeral home.
