

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia Roederer Reinhardt and his brother, Fred A. Reinhardt.
He is survived by his children, Sherry Loeser (Larry) and Alan Reinhardt along with granddaughters LeAnne Walsh (Brad) and Kerry Reinhardt, and a great-grandson, Noah Walsh.
Charles was a graduate of Male High School and worked for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company for 47 years. He served his country during World War II as a captain in the Army, 70th Infantry Division He was an active member of Zion United Methodist Church until its closing, and has been a member of lmmanuel United Church of Christ since 1998. He was an active member of Highland Community Ministries' Older Persons Outreach Program and faithfully served Meals on Wheels for 25 years.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. The funeral service will be conducted at Resthaven on Thursday at 10 a.m.
