He was born on December 26, 1928 in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Schram, Sr. and Josephine Schram, and a sister, Dorothy King.
Charlie was a member of Southeast Christian Church, an Air Force veteran, and worked in the auto parts business for over 30 years at V.V. Cooke Chevrolet. He spent his retirement years gardening, fishing, and enjoying his family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lena (Combest) Schram, his son Chuck (Maria), his two grandchildren Brittany Chenault and Justin Schram, and his two great-grandchildren, Addyson Chenault and Leah Schram.
Visitation will be from 3PM to 7PM on Monday January 22, 2024 at Arch L. Heady Westport Village. Funeral service at the same location on Tuesday January 23 at 10AM, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
