Dear Family and Friends,

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Uncle Charlie. I am sorry for not being able to attend the funeral services, but my wife (Beth) and I are traveling overseas for the next few weeks. I mean no disrespect to Uncle Charlie or Aunt Georgia by not attending as I love them both very much. I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood growing up around Uncle Charlie and Aunt Georgia. I can remember hanging out at their house in Louisville, playing board games, playing cards, going bowling and just sitting around talking. We also spent a lot of time together at the family reunions every year. I always respected Uncle Charlie and the example he set as a hard worker and provider for his family. He's also the only man I know who literally walked himself into the ER after his first heart attack (I wish I was that tough). It's amazing to know that he and Aunt Georgia were married for 61 years! I will miss Uncle Charlie, but I also take comfort in knowing that Uncle Charlie is at peace in heaven with our other family members who passed on before us. We will see him again some day and he'll make us all laugh with his funny sense of humor! I love and miss you all; please give Aunt Georgia a big hug from me.
PS: The attached photo was one of the coolest I have ever seen of Uncle Charlie and Aunt Georgia. It also has Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Phyllis. I don't know how old they were but they looked so young and hip. Love Bobby.
