Preceding him in death are his parents, John William Tate and Dessie Reker; grandson, Derek Michael Tate; siblings, Donald Ray Tate and Shirley Ann Flint.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Rosie; children, Debbie Cripps, Charles Wayne Tate O.C.D.S, Michael (Regina Lynn) Tate; grandchildren, Megan Lynn Cripps and Sarah Elizabeth Tate; brother, Albert "Jack" Tate; and a host of family and friends.
