Charles Williams

Charles Williams, age 81, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, passed away on March 13, 2026, peacefully. Born April 22, 1944, Charles was beloved, brave, cherished, devoted, hard-working, loyal, and resilient throughout his life. He joined the Army National Guard in 1961.

Charles married his beloved Carol Christine Williams, and they were married for over 40 years. Charles enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a huge UK fan and a devoted New Orleans Saints fan. LSU was his favorite collegiate team for both football and basketball.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Williams and Ruby Taylor; his grandson, Charles R. Williams; granddaughter, Ashley Leann Williams; daughters, Theresa Hatfield and Sherry Lynn Hilkey; and brother, Billy Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, David Troy Williams (Samantha); sisters, Patricia Witt and Sandra Williams; brothers, Grant Williams, Paul Williams, and Thomas Williams; daughter-in-law, Lora Williams; grandchildren, David Anthony Williams, Russell Williams, Ashley Williams, Miranda Hatfield, and Ryan King; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Mullins, Jayden Mullins, Nevaeh Mullins, Kaylee Williams, Dillon Williams, Braxton Williams, and Hallie Williams; and great-great-grandchild, Camellia Williams.

Visitation will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, on March 21, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, on March 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
