Born in 1930 to Charles and Florence Gallusser, he was a 1948 graduate of DuPont Manual High School and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Charlie retired from the auto business, working for Byerly Ford and Coyle Chevrolet, to name a few, and owned Grade Lane Auto Imports. He met his wife Sharon while selling her son a car. He was an avid golfer, hosting 4th of July scrambles for years. He was a member of The Travelers Protective Association of America for 42 years and a lifetime member of VFW Post 3281.
Charlie had a sweet tooth, especially for jellybeans and cinnamon hard candies. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, was quick with a joke or a song and recited poetry, even remembering things he’d learned in high school.

Gallusser, his children Phil Gallusser, Bruce Gallusser, Kevin Gallusser and spouse Diane, Laura Vetter and spouse Ken, Curt Gallusser and spouse Barbie, Jeff Brown and spouse Lanette, and Joey Wright.
