2 Corinthians 5: 7-8.
For we walk by faith, not by sight; We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with The Lord.
It is with great sorrow that I must say that we lost our moma in the earthly realm early Friday morning. Peacefully passing from this life into her Heavenly Home.
As it breaks our hearts not to see or hear her voice this side of heaven, we stand in rejoicing that she woke seeing Jesus's sweet Face and Arms wide open to welcome her Home.
Now I could tell you of her profession, that she worked so very hard to ensure the three of us were taken care of...and that she did. I'd rather tell you about the amazing Godly woman she was. She was first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ. She was a teacher, a mentor to so many. She was a loyal friend and sister. She listened when people needed to be heard. She spoke softly with care and compassion. And her boldness shined through as she spoke of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was the most amazing person I've ever known.
Her heart was so full of love and compassion for all who knew her. From us kids who dearly loved her to family back home, to her best of friends. Her love for helping the young woman at Priscilla's Place and the Bible studies she shared will be remembered by so many lives changed for The Glory of God. But most of all she was our Mom and she meant everything to us.
Glory Glory Glory to God Almighty, heaven is now Home and she has a seat at His table. We love you Mom and we look forward to seeing you again one day. Nancy, Scott and Jimmy.
