She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Barbara Krausgill; and sister, Anita Davis.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Nancy Smith Ewing (James) and David Smith (Diana); grandson, Connor Ewing; and granddaughter, Jessie Ewing.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 4pm at Westport Road Church of Christ. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4pm at the church. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Any floral donations are encouraged to be sent directly to the church, 4500 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40207.
The family would like to thank Hosparus and Cheryl's caregivers for the great care that she received.
