He was a retired Shift Manager for General Electric with 20 plus years of dedicated service. Chester served his country proudly while serving in the Army Air Force. His memberships include the Kosair Shrine, Kosair Boat Club and a former membership in the Moose Lodge. He was also a Mason.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 49 years, Frances Davis; son, Randall Davis; 3 step-children, Phyllis Hudson (Don), Kendru Anderson (Diane) and Dean Anderson; 4 grandchildren, Terri Kute (Eric), Kristin Bramblett (Dave), Troy Anderson and Stacy Anderson; 1 great-grandchild, Hanna Anderson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 2, 2010 in the chapel of the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
