Christine Durbin

Christine will be remembered as a cherished and beloved presence—steady in her devotion, faithful in her walk, and patient in the ways that matter most. Her life was marked by quiet strength and enduring love, offered generously to those around her.

Christine was united in marriage for 65 years to Carl Durbin. She was a loving mother to two sons, Wayne Durbin (Maria) and Bradley Durbin (Melinda), and she was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Durbin. She found deep joy in her grandchildren—Brent, Kayla, Jacob, Taylor, Emily, and Chase—and in her 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Don Beddingfield. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lila Beddingfield.

A devoted member of Louisville First Church of God, Christine's faith was a guiding light throughout her life. In the simple pleasures, she found beauty and comfort, and she especially loved anything with cardinals—small reminders that brought her happiness and warmth.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Advantage Heady-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3601 Taylor Blvd, on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location at 4:00 pm.
