Christine Bishop Holder

Christine moved to Hickman, KY at the age of 10 where she met Roland R. Holder and began their love affair at an early age. They were united in Holy matrimony 55 years ago on March 25, 1965 at a very young age. From this adoring union came four children, Victor R. Holder, Bryant B. Holder, whom preceded her in death, Mrs. Angela R. Holland and Mrs. Tara O Bethel.

She was a generous person who never turned away anyone in need. Christine was a loving, faithful wife and mother until the very end. She will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know her. She was the 8th child of 14 from her parents Charlie and Mary Bishop; and she has 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a funeral service beginning immediately at 2:00 pm in Christine’s honor.

2nd Timothy 4: 7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, The righteous judge, shall give me at that day. Not to me only but unto all them also that loves his appearing. Hallelujah.”
