Christine had a fierce love for her friends and family and became a friend to nearly everyone she met. She absolutely loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with shopping for shoes. Christine worked as a custodian in the Jefferson County Schools where she touched many children's lives, especially at Barret.
Left behind to cherish memories of Christine are her children; Sheila Smith, Michael Welch and Wanda Brown, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Noon at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road, with visiting on Wednesday from 3-8 and Thursday from 10am until service time.
Memorial contributions can be made in Christine's memory to Hosparus.
