Christine Riggs White, 82, went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 21, 2019. She was born December 23, 1936. Christine loved children and so worked as kitchen support for Jefferson County Schools.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Grover C. Riggs and Marie Vance Riggs; two brothers, Bobby Gene Riggs and Ronald “Oscar” Riggs.

Left to cherish Christine’s memory is her son, Christopher White of Louisville, KY; daughter, Candie (Ed) Cook of Petersburg, MI; grandsons, Michael (Asa) Crowne of Okinawa, Japan, Timothy Crowne of Petersburg, MI; great-grandchildren, Anna Crowne and Conner Crowne of Okinawa, Japan; brothers, Royce (Joyce) Riggs of Kentucky, Carlos “Cotton” (Martha) Riggs of Tennessee, Doug Riggs of Kentucky; sisters, Bonnie Sue (Jack) Rowe of Kentucky, Imogene McPherson of Florida; and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 2-8pm.
