Christopher A Land

Chris was a 1966 graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School and also attended 2 years at University of Louisville. He was a tool and die maker and a master Machinist. Chris was very artistic and used his vision to be heavily involved in restoring Victorian homes in “Old Louisville”.

He loved to talk and visit with friends and always had a good story to tell.

He enjoyed all sports, gardening, hunting, fishing, camping and travel. Chris was always up for an adventure.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife and lifetime partner Judy, his 2 daughters Nikki Teague (Barry) and Natasha Zent (Jerry); seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; Brother, Jim Land (Debbie), a sister Susan Birnbaum (Richard); sisters in law Billie Land and Becky Land. He is also survived by brother and sister in laws, Connie (Bob) Wolf, Cindy (Eston) Long, Mike (Peggy)Sommer and many nieces nephews and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Betty Land and two brothers David Land and Gary Land.

Visitation will take place at Heady Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, on Friday August 2, 2024 from 2:00pm until the time of service at 5:30pm.
