He graduated from Waggener High School in 1988, moved to Arizona to be with family and attend Arizona State University, then returned to his hometown and finished Law School at the University of Louisville. He loved playing soccer and coaching kid’s soccer. He loved his family, his home, and his German Shepherds. He loved to cook, was active in his church and community, and enjoyed being involved in local politics. And while his may not have been a happily-ever-after story, these things remain true, and he is gone from us way too soon.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Comprone, and his grandmother, Joy Dugan. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Connie; a brother, Joseph (Marie); daughter, Susan (Christian); and so many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 2-5pm at the Captain’s Quarter’s Stone Room, 5700 Captains Quarters Rd, Prospect, KY 40059. There will be a sharing of memories from 3-4pm. All are welcome to come and share in the stories, life and love.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Center for Women and Families would be appreciated.
