Clara was a native of Shelbyville, KY., and a retired GE employee. She loved to travel and had proudly visited all 50 states, “including Alaska and Hawaii,” as she would always say. She was a wonderful mother and the best Granny her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren could have ever asked for. She was a caring and giving person to everyone, frequently donating to multiple causes and organizations over the years. She was a great cook, always making sure everyone who came to her home was fed, and enjoyed watching Westerns, especially Gunsmoke. She will be forever missed by all family and friends who knew her.
Clara is preceded in death by her husband, David Leon Issac; her children, Terry Clara Turner, Ralph "Sonny" Herman Husband Jr., Sandra Kay Broaddus; a granddaughter, Christina Smalley; and seven siblings.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Carol Renck (John), and Deborah Lynn Husband; her grandchildren, Shawn Redmon (Danelle), Robert Turner Jr., Melissa Hall (Alan), Steven O'Daniel (Missy), Angela McGlasson (Donald) and Jason Coates (Paula); 17 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and special granddaughter, Sunny Danielle Turner (Fred). She also leaves behind two sisters, Brenda Oldham and Ada Harley.
