

Breeden, Clarence W. “Cotton”, 88, of South Louisville peacefully passed from this life on Saturday September 24, 2011 at Norton Pavilion with his loving family at his side. He was a retired route man for the old Capitol Laundry, a 35 year member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church where he enjoyed greeting everyone at Sunday service, was an avid golfer, and a former coach of Beechmont Little League. Mr. Breeden was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandra Louise Breeden. Mr. Breeden is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, the former Ruth Young; daughters, Carolyn Fox (Carl), and Nancy Sue Crane (Doug); a son, Al Breeden (Debbie); a brother Bob Breeden; grandchildren, Kelly Baxter (Ronnie), Kim Kayrouz (Kim Hobbs), Kristi Wiser (David), Danny Breeden (Stacy), Don Breeden (Kristin), Jenni Defler (Kerry), David Breeden (Sarah), and Lance Crane (Tara); great grandchildren, Nickolas, Dillon, Maggie, Jonathan, Luke, Hannah, Joshua, Maddi, Jacob, Bryce, Brady, Logan, Becca, and Lily. A celebration of Mr. Breeden’s life will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Monday, and after 10 am Tuesday.
