Clarence was a retired clerk for the United States Postal Service, a member of Grace Pointe Baptist Church, a member of Valley – Daylight Masonic Lodge 511, Queen Esther Chapter #1 Order of the Eastern Star, and was past Grand Patron of Order of the Eastern Star of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Beulah Phillips; daughter Donna Phillips; son Mark Phillips; and brothers William C. and Kenneth E. Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Wilma Gill Phillips; grandsons Chris and Jarred Phillips; and a sister, Joyce Dildine.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. There will be visitation from 2:00pm until the time of the service.
