Claudia Wienke

Claudia was born December 11th, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky to Francis Hubert Litkenhous and Anna Mildred Knoop Litkenhous. Claudia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Claudia was a long-time member of ZETA-TAU-ALPHA at IU in Bloomington, Indiana. She loved to garden and arranged flowers in her free time. Claudia loved nature, and she enjoyed going on long nature walks. Claudia volunteered at the National Wildlife Federation for over 20 years. Anyone that knew Claudia would say that she was a true environmentalist at heart. She will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years; Kenneth Raymond Wienke; her parents, Francis Hubert Litkenhous and Anna Mildred Knoop Litkenhous; Son, Matthew Wienke; and brother, Bill Litkenhous.

Left to cherish her memory is her son; Gregory Wienke; her younger sister Paula Pence; and her granddaughter Jacquelyne.
