He was a retired warehouse foreman for Champion (Nationwide) Paper Company and an Army veteran of WWII.
Clayton was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Sue Randolph, and sons Michael Randolph, Robert Randolph, Connie McCloud, and William McCloud. Survivors include his daughter and caregiver Rebecca Poe (Darren); daughter, Nancy Jaggers (Allen); son, Jerry Randolph (Nancy); sister, Phoebe Logsdon; 24 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery (Ekron, KY). Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday.
