After high school, he went on to honorably serve his country in the US Navy.
He was employed by General Electric, where he worked in the model shop. Upon completion of his employment at GE, he started a HVAC company,which he ran until his 90th birthday.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Ola of 61 years; sister, Ruth and two brothers, Bob and Otis. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Gross of Ohio.
Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, March 2, 2026 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with burial at Lebanon National Cemetery, Lebanon, KY at 2:30pm.
