Clyde Edward Hardin Sr., 68 entered into Heaven’s gates Sunday March 19, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family. Born March 17, 1949 in Taylorsville Kentucky and lived in surrounding counties. Clyde worked as a young man at Brills Industry known as Ohio Valley Aluminum Company in Shelbyville, Ky. He also worked as a self-employed contractor remolding homes in Louisville. He then later moved to Belleview FL where he acquired his masters in electrical then went on to open his own company, Hardco Electric in Central Florida.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents William Powers Hardin, Mary Elizabeth Kinder and grandchildren Marcus Aaron Smith and Lexi Campbell, son-in-law Mark Smith and brother-in-law Charlie Vincent.
Clyde is survived by his companion Phyllis Walker of Belleview, FL, children Elizabeth Smith of Evansville, IN, Clyde E. Hardin Jr. of Sturgis, KY, Saundra Hardin Campbell (Billy) of Sturgis, KY and Keith E. Hardin (Rebecca) of Lawrenceburg, KY, siblings Shirley Hardin Vincent of Louisville, KY, William Robert Hardin of Greensburg, KY, Katherine Hardin Maddox of Clarksville, IN, Judy Hardin Crutcher (Ronnie) of Louisville, KY and Marvin Hardin (Barbara) of Louisville, KY and many loving grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be missed and loved by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral home from 10am-2pm with a graveside service to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
