COLONEL FRANKLIN M., 81, passed away Tuesday , July 31, 2012.
Colonel Gray retired from the United States Army after honorably serving our country for 30+ years. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor.
His wife of 32 years, Alice Perkins Brown Gray precedes him in death.
Those left to carry on his memory are his son, Jamie Gray; step children, Linda Cessna, Barry and Mark Brown; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A service honoring Colonel Franklin Gray's Life will be noon on Friday, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
The family suggests expressions of sympathy to Hosparus of Louisville.
