Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Connie's passing. She is one of the great coworker at Humana up till retirement. I am still in shock by her passing as she was an upbeat person with the personality that brings you smile and laughter when you joke with her.

To the family especially the kids and grand kids she adored, I'm wishing you the comfort in the strength Connie gave you, the love she wraps your heart with and God's healing power to get you through this very difficult time. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family as well as comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

Connie, thanks for all you do. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to me". Connie, so go and run free with the Angels in Heaven for the Lord has chosen you to be with him. Rest in peace.

I first met Connie at the Open Door Baptist Church. She sat on the opposite side of the aisle from me. I first noticed her when we shook hands and found out she was wearing the same sweatshirt jacket I had. We both had the same snap up jacket in several different colors. Every Sunday she wore one of her jackets and I could always pick her out. As we talked over the weeks, found out our children knew each other and were close friends. Small world. I could always look over and see a smile on her face. Such a sweet smile. I'm going to miss her smile and her sweatshirt snap-up jackets.
