Cristina was born and February 27, 1944 in Muntinlupa, Philippines to the late Teofilo and Zoila Soriano. Cristina received her Master’s Degree in Nutrition and would later retire as a Dietitian for the State of Kentucky. Over the years she was very active in her local Filipino community, worked at Central State Hospital and Hazelwood Hospital and several state prisons.
She enjoyed traveling; she did a lot of traveling in her younger years. And even participated in a few beauty pageants. Not only was Cristina beautiful on the outside, the same was true on the inside. She was loving, caring and compassionate. Cristina always found time to help her coworkers and others around her. She also always took such good care of her family, they were her main priority. Cristina will be truly missed by her family, coworkers, and her friends in the VIP Club at Horseshoe Casino!
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Tony, Marvin and Robert. Here to carry on her memory are her siblings, Ting (May), Rory (Mike) and Eric (Tess); sisters in-law, Ofelia, Mila and Gloria and her 18 nieces and nephews.
It was Cristina’s request that all services remain private, under the direction of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
