He was a car salesman for Montgomery Chevrolet, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, served in Korea for four years, a 30 year member of A.A., where he sponsored and touched many lives.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Sandra Holt; children, John David Holt, Stacee Doll (Bill) and Ben Fagan (Heather); his mother, Geraldine Holt; brother Dean Holt (Rocky); and a sister, Cheri DeLaney (Dewayne); and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with a private family burial to follow. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. the day of the service.
