He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mae Mengedoht, wife Thelma Mengedoht and great grandson Jase Bowman. Curtis leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Susan Bowman and Chris Mengedoht, grandchildren Jason Mengedoht, Lauren Grace (Andy), Amanda Mengedoht, Dwayne Bowman, Cody Bowman and C. J. Mengedoht and 12 great grandchildren.
A service to honor the life of Curtis will be held Friday at 12pm in the chapel of Arch L .Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8pm at the funeral home and will resume in the chapel Friday from 10am-12pm.
