Note from Steve Stargardt who worked with Curtis in Cuba. “Leslie, I love your husband. He has had a tremendous influence on my life as I try to emulate his passion for life and ability to love those around him. I gravitated towards him because he treated me with respect and unexplainable generosity. I am saddened by this news but enjoyed the video of his life. Curtis is a pure soul of goodness and love, he is in the Great Garden and Fishing Hole in the sky. We have truly been touched by a great man”.

My brother, my friend.... My heart is so heavy and my mind is so full of memories of us growing up. Who knew that we would end up being so close! I'm forever grateful for that. I will miss talking to you, your jokester ways and the sound of your laughter. I will miss the delightful gifts from you that seemed to make you happy just knowing how surprised we would be! :) It was always so much fun to see what unique and creative ideas you had and, I will cherish them. I will miss you Curtis, but You will always live in my heart. I love you. Your loving sister, Linda Carol
