Daisy J. Keith

Daisy J. (Whitmer) Bridwell Keith, 94, passed away on June 23, 2025. Daisy was born in Muhlenberg County and moved to Louisville in 1941. Daisy was a retired JCPS cafeteria worker at Blue Lick Elementary School and a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church. She made beautiful quilts for family, friends and charities, and loved to play cards with the family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Braxton and Blanch Whitmer; husbands, Richard Keith and Marvin Bridwell; brothers, Darrell, Cecil, Wayne, and Jim Whitmer; sisters, Brenda Franck and Geneva Beckman; and granddaughter, Hayley Bridwell.

Survivors include her four children, Michael Bridwell, Danny (Sherry) Bridwell, Mickey (Lynn) Bridwell, and Sandra Smith (Kevin); 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 3PM to 8PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service celebrating Daisy's life will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. Daisy will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
