Dana K. Edwards, 68, of Louisville, passed away August 10, 2026. She was born January 12, 1958, to the late George Carter, Sr and O’neila Woodburn Carter. Dana was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and fiancé. She worked for UPS for over 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years: Derryl E. Edwards, Sr. and her fur-baby: Ginger.
Left to cherish Dana’s memory are her children: Ralph Dicken III, Melissa Dicken, and Derryl E. Edwards, Jr. (Beverly); her grandchildren: Shelby Dicken, Memphis Combs, Rowan Edwards, and Tenley Rogers; her fiancé: Danny Fahey; and her sister: Kim Diebold.
Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Dana will be 12 PM Wednesday, August 19 at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
