Daniel Ray Skees

Daniel Ray Skees, 62, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. He served in the US Air Force and the Air National Guard. Daniel was a member of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus, and a lifetime member of the DAV. He graduated from Southern High School in 1979. He enjoyed art and loved to paint. He was a wonderful husband and father.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Skees.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Juanita Skees; sons, Daniel Ray Skees II (Melanie), Michael Shawn Ray Skees (Nicky), James Corey Ray Skees (Jennifer Dawn); 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, David Leroy Skees, Gary Wayne Skees (Pam); aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and many loving friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2022 from 1pm – 7pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home – Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy 40219. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10am at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy 40219, with burial in the Kentucky Veterans’ Cemetery Central in Radcliff, 2501 Dixie Blvd 40160.
