Zimmerer, Daniel Deleon, 86, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017. A native of the Louisville area, he served in the United States Army was part of the Korean War. His wife, Barbara (Davis) Zimmerer, preceded Daniel in death.
Daniel is survived by his children, Elaine Powell (Rick) and Glen Zimmerer; sister, Beulah Monyhan; Also left to cherish his memory, his caretakers, grandson, Chris Vanwinkle and wife, Michelle and great grandsons, Cody and Austin; 5 other grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 12:00pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville Kentucky, 40218 with a private entombment to follow. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and from 10:00am until the service on Saturday.
