Danny L McCombs

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Billie and Clyde Edwin “Eddie” McCombs.

Danny graduated from Oldham County HS in 1968. He spent a few years after that working for Custom

Manufacturing. In 1982, he met his friends Bob and Lou who hired him to work at The Electric Ladyland. He

would go on to work there until he retired in 2020. While there, he developed a fondness for music and record collecting.

Danny began living residentially with Meeting Challenges in 2006. He also attended their day program. It was there that Danny gained some very close friends, including his roommates Ronald and Arthur. He enjoyed shopping and socializing with all of his friends.

Danny had an infectious smile and sweet laugh. He was kind and generous to others. He will be greatly missed by his Meeting Challenges family and everyone that knew him.

A funeral service for Danny will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A visitation will occur Monday, March 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home.
