David L. Baker

David Leroy Baker, 74, of Louisville, KY born in Salem, IN passed away on July 14, 2021 in Louisville. David was born to Roy and Annabelle Baker on July 15, 1946. He married Kathy Ann Tennill on December 27, 1975 in Louisville, KY. He is a graduate of Murray State University in 1968. After retiring from Producer Feeds, David enjoyed transporting students and student athletes for Assumption High School and Louisville Collegiate School. He enjoyed spending most of his time at the lake with his family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father Roy, mother Annabelle, and sister Patty Baker (Owen).

David is survived by his wife Kathy of 46 years, son David (Amanda) Baker, siblings Tony Baker and Peggy Sears and grandchildren Braden and Gwendolyn Baker.

A service to honor the life of David will be held Sunday, July 18th at 1:30pm the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-6pm in the funeral home and will resume on Sunday at 12pm in the chapel.

Memorials or donations may be given to Saint Jude, Assumption High School, or Louisville Collegiate School.
