Dr. David S. Decker, Sr., of Louisville, passed away January 26, 2011 at his home. He was born on November 2, 1952 to Virginia Sanders Decker and the late Stoy Decker. He was a Family Medicine Physician who loved his patients. He was an avid musician playing the keyboard as a member of the Still Kickin’ Band and a former member of City Lights.
He is survived by wife, Crystal Decker; his children, Amber (Daniel) Able, David Jr., Tyler, Daniel, and Adam Decker; step daughters, Emily, Laura and Robin White; grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Joshua, and Hadley Able and his beloved dog, Rudy.
The family will receive friends from 11-4 on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Funeral Services will be private.
