David Glenn Hadfield

David Glenn Hadfield 65 passed away Saturday, April10, 2010 at Jewish Hospital, after a courgeous fight with cancer. He was a life long resident of Louisville, having lived the past 25 years in Crescent Hill.He was born December 11, 1944 to the late; Harry H. Hadfield Jr. and Dorothy Mae Shivley Hadfield. He was a former member of the Louisville Figure Skating Club, Crescent Hill Community Coucil, and the Crescent Hill Business Association. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Crescent Hill United Methodist Church. He was a retired Funeral Director for Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home. having worked at the Oak street location for some 20 years, and retiring in October 2005 from the Heady-Cralle location on Frankfort Avenue.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, and his partner of 22 years; Tony Leslie.

He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Hadfield Flamm,his two aunts, Betty Shively and Jean Hunter (Aubrey), one nicece; Vicki Borders (Phillip), and 3 great nieces; Melissa, Nikki, and Erika. his many friends, including Larry Wells who cared for him, and his collegues, at Heady Funeral Home.

A service to Celebrate the life of David will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, with private interment at Cave Hill. Visitation will be after 3 pm Tuesday.

David requested that those who would like to make a donation in his memory to please donate to the Kentucky Humane Society.
