David Earl Hardy

Hardy, David Earl, 62, entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2017. David was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked at Challenger Lift for 20 years where he worked as a welder. David raced cars in his younger years and later became a member of the Corvette Club. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lucious Earl Hardy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Sallye Carter (Richard H.); brothers, Anthony Jerome Hardy (Ellouise) of Elkwood, CA, and Maurice Hardy Sr. (Latisha); uncle, Bart W. Starks (Bonnie); nephews, Maurice Hardy Jr., Sean Michael Hardy, Antonio Marcel Hardy, RayShawn Payton-Kilgore and DaJuan Payton-Kilgore; niece, Tamiko Hardy; one great niece; and one great nephew.

A Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of the customary forms of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
