He was born in Elk Creek, North Carolina on June 17, 1941 to Virginia Lee and James Nelson Pritchard. He proudly served in United States Navy.
David is survived by his children, Patrick L. Pritchard, Timothy R. Pritchard, daughter Tina Pritchard; and his sister, Emma Jean Dunlap.
David was preceded in death by his father, James Nelson Pritchard and mother, Virginia Lee Pritchard and many of his siblings.
