He is survived by his children Spencer D. Wieland, Savannah Wieland, and Addison Wieland; His mother Barbara Wieland; sister Diane Wieland, nephew Branden Thrasher; former spouse Suzanne Wieland; and many extended family members and friends. David is preceded in death by his father Robert Bruce Wieland.
David was a Master carpenter and craftsman whose work spanned all over the city. No project was too large or small and his attention to detail was only matched by his humility in his work.
A funeral service will be held on Friday October 8th at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Westport Village 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville KY 40222 with visitation Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the children’s educational fund and checks can be made to Suzanne Wieland.
